Industry Salutes Garth Brooks
Garth Brooks will receive the prestigious Leadership Music Dale Franklin Award at a gala tribute on Aug. 23 in Nashville.
Also honored with the award will be two industry veterans crucial to Garth’s early career, label executive Jim Foglesong and producer Allen Reynolds. Garth’s wife, Trisha Yearwood, is set to appear, as are Martina McBride, Roy Clark, Crystal Gayle and other stars. The ceremony will take place at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville. The award is presented by Leadership Music, a nonprofit organization that aims to build understanding among music industry professionals.
