IBMA Awards Announced

The International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, the genre's most prestigious honors, were held Oct. 1 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, with the duo Dailey & Vincent taking the top prize, Entertainer of the Year.

Dailey & Vincent won the award for the second year in a row. Kathy Mattea and the band Hot Rize hosted the ceremony, which honors the best in bluegrass music. This marked the 20th anniversary of the awards. "Bluegrass fans are the best fans in the whole wide world," said Darrin Vincent of Dailey & Vincent.
