How Much Does David Nail Love Glen Campbell?

"I can finally say I saw one of my biggest influences live," David tweets.

Country icon Glen Campbell ("Rhinestone Cowboy") can still draw a crowd more than 40 years after being named Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year.

And he can draw hot country newcomer David Nail ("Let It Rain") away from his wife, even on her birthday.

Glen played to a packed Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday night (Jan. 3), and some other country vets—Tanya Tucker, Larry Gatlin and Jeannie Seely included—joined David in the crowd, The Tennessean reported.

David told fans earlier in the day that it was his wife's birthday, but he apparently went without her.

"I can finally say I saw one of my biggest influences live," he tweeted, "now home to tuck the birthday girl into bed!"
