"HOW I SPENT MY THANKSGIVING" -- BY LEE ANN WOMACK

Lee Ann Womack had a very busy Thanksgiving holiday.

The CMA Female Vocalist of the Year award winner was out and about, spreading holiday cheer, donating her time and talent to the weekend's festivities.

Womack hosted the Nashville-based part of "The All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade" on CBS on Thanksgiving Day, and also sang the "The Star Spangled Banner" during the Dallas Cowboys game.

She also managed to get in some quality time with the family at her home in Texas before she is due to kick off her holiday tour, which will include some help from the Duke Ellington Orchestra.

Then, on December 4, Womack will travel to Las Vegas where she will be a presenter on the Billboard Music Awards. At last year's Billboard Awards, Womack took home the Single of the Year award for her song "I Hope You Dance."
