HOMETOWN HONORS FOR SHANIA

Shania Twain's hometown of Timmins, Ontario celebrated their favorite girl the weekend of June 29 with the "Shania Time Heritage Festival."

The celebration was held in honor of the hometown star and to mark the opening of the brand-new Shania Twain Centre. The museum will feature hundreds of personal items donated by the singer including her first GRAMMY award and her wedding dress.

Due to her pregnancy she stayed at home in Switzerland, but fans paid tribute to the upcoming blessed event by holding contests that had baby themes. A baby book was signed by fans and will be sent as a gift to the songstress and her husband, Mutt Lange.
