“American Idol” runner-up will make her Opry debut during CMA Music Festival week.
HOMETOWN HONORS CHELY WRIGHT
Until she was 9 years old, Chely Wright lived at 710 Main Street in Wellsville, Kansas, before moving to the country.
Now, the town is preparing to rename Main Street to honor her. The street will be unveiled on August 3rd, and Chely is planning to be there for the festivities.
Later that evening, Chely will perform in the town of Lawrence, Kansas.
