Hillary Scott Talks Wedding Songs

Lady A singer undecided on her wedding set list.

What songs will make the set list for Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott on her wedding day? That's still up in the air, the recently engaged singer told reporters on the red carpet prior to the CMA Awards telecast Wednesday night (Nov. 9). Hillary is engaged to drummer Chris Tyrrell and the two are set to marry in 2012. "We haven't really thought about [songs] yet," Hillary said. "We have songs that mean a lot to us as a couple. But as far as specifics, we haven't really gotten there yet."

Lady A vocalist Charles Kelley, standing next to Hillary, blurted out a suggestion. "Get a Motown band," he said with a laugh.

May we suggest a little number called "Need You Now"? And there is more where that came from, Hillary. Give us a call.

Hillary has already noted that she will not ask Charles and the third Lady A member, Dave Haywood, to perform. Later that evening, Lady Antebellum was named CMA Vocal Group of the Year for the third year in a row.
