Hillary Scott to Be Mentor on “The Voice”—for Adam?

Yeah, you read that right. Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott will be a mentor for rocker Adam Levine's team on the upcoming season of The Voice, according to TV's Access Hollywood.

But wait, isn't that what helped launch Blake Shelton into superstardom? Indeed. But not only is Hillary helping Blake's competition, she even took a little shot at her fellow country star.

"I'm sure [we'll have] way more fun than Blake's team!" Hillary told Access Hollywood.

Considering that Blake likes to have lots of fun, we're not entirely sure that prediction will come true.

Anyway, it turns out Adam and Hillary know each other because Hillary sang with Adam on a Maroon 5 album cut called "Out of Goodbyes."

"She is an incredible performer and artist. I know my team will be able to learn a lot from her," Adam said.

The new season of The Voice starts March 25 on NBC, with Blake, Adam (and Hillary) and new judges Shakira and Usher.
