The Henningsens Want “Mr. Paisley” for President

New country family trio The Henningsens (“American Beautiful”) are excited to be opening this summer for Brad Paisley on a tour that started Thurdsay night (May 9).

How excited?

“Pretty stinkin’ cool to be going out on the road with Mr. Paisley this summer,” lead singer Clara Henningsen tells reporters.

Uh, what did she call Brad?

“He must feel really old because you call him Mr. Paisley all the time,” her bandmate brother Aaron says.

“Well,” Clara responds, “I don’t know. It just kind of comes out naturally and sounds good.

“I mean, Mr. Paisley. It makes him sound like he’s the president or something. He is kind of the president of country music in a way.”

Aaron agrees. “If George Strait is the king, then Brad Paisley is the president. We could give him that idea. He should run for president. I’d vote for him.”
