Family trio The Henningsens celebrated a special event this past Saturday (May 4) when lead singer Clara Henningsen married Jacob Calaway on the family farm in Illinois. Clara, her brother Aaron and their father, Brian, make up the trio, which is currently enjoying a hit debut single with “American Beautiful.”

Clara and Jacob have been engaged since last September and decided on a springtime wedding. “It was really cool because I got to be married on our family farm,” Clara said. “It’s really where I wanted to get married.” Clara added that the wedding party consisted of 14 people, “not including the bride and the groom and the little ring-bearers and the flower girls. It was very special.”

There won’t be much time for a honeymoon, though, as the band is preparing to hit the road with Brad Paisley on his Beat This Summer Tour presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, which kicks off May 9.

Country Weekly sends our congratulations to the happy couple and their families.
