Happy Birthday to country music legend Johnny Cash, who turns 70 today.

Although the Man in Black has not performed live recently due to health concerns, he is still recording. In fact, he is nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Male Country Vocal at Wednesday night's (2/27) awards show.

Cable television stations CMT and VH1 are also planning to celebrate Cash's birthday by broadcasting special programming featuring footage compiled over the years of Cash's career, some of his classic songs and reviews of his most famous albums.
