Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton Announce Co-Headlining Tour

The unlikely duo will hit eight cities starting in August.

Country music legend Hank Williams Jr. and breakout star Chris Stapleton have confirmed plans for a co-headlining tour this summer.

Starting Aug. 5, the generation-spanning duo will share top billing as they roll through eight cities across the U.S., including Tampa, Houston, Cincinnati and more. Tickets go on sale Jan. 29.

Hank’s new album, It’s About Time, was released on Jan. 15 and includes the single “Are You Ready for the Country,” a collaboration with Eric Church. Chris’ solo debut, Traveller, has been certified Gold for sales of over 500,000 copies by the Recording Industry Association of America, and he’s up for four awards at the upcoming 58th annual Grammy Awards, airing Feb. 15.
