HANK JR.’S DAUGHTER BACK HOME

Hilary Williams, the oldest daughter of Hank Williams Jr., has been moved back to Nashville to complete her recovery from a March 15 auto accident near Memphis.

Hilary and her sister Holly were both injured in the accident, with Hilary having to undergo multiple surgeries in a Memphis hospital. Holly suffered a broken wrist, and was released March 17. On Monday night, April 10, backstage at the 2006 CMT Music Awards, Hank Jr. recalled the horrifying ordeal. “That’s the worst phone call a parent can get,” Hank Jr. said. “At one point, Hilary was close to death. She had turned pretty ashen. The doctors had basically prepared me for the news.” Hank Jr. praised the hospital staff for their amazing work in pulling Hilary through.
