Hank Jr. and Friends Head to the Beach

The second in a series of concerts aimed at upping Alabama beach tourism in the wake of the BP oil spill has been scheduled for Sept. 25 the Amphitheater at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Ala.

The concert will feature Hank Williams Jr.'s Rowdy Friends 2010 Tour, which includes Gretchen Wilson and Lee Brice.

Jimmy Buffett headlined a show, which drew more than 35,000 to the beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., on July 11.

Like Jimmy's concert, a portion of which was broadcast on CMT, money from BP will subsidize the cost of the Rowdy Friends show. Tickets are being sold at ticketmaster.com.
