Hank Jr. is at the 20

For the 20th season, the opening moments of TV’s Monday Night Football will be heralded by Hank Williams Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night.”

“It has been a wonderful ride,” Hank declares. “I have had a lot of fun doing it and I'm going to have a lot more fun." This year’s opening will feature Hank singing team-specific lyrics for each regular-season matchup airing on ESPN, audio tracks he recorded in July at Quad Studios in Nashville. The accompanying visuals were filmed August 2 and 3 at Hollywood’s Raleigh Studios. The new intro will make its debut on ESPN Sept. 8. "All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” is Hank’s football-friendly adaptation of his 1984 hit “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.”
