Gwyneth in Talks for a Record Deal?

Paltrow, Gwyneth

Seems a natural progression: Gwyneth Paltrow stars as a singer in Country Strong, she performs on the CMAs, the Grammys, the Oscars and that ultimate TV singing outlet, Glee.

Now, Britain’s Sun newspaper says she has landed a $900,000 deal with Atlantic Records.

But two U.S. media outlets, E! Online and Entertainment Weekly, report that she is in talks to land a record deal.

One of her reps reacts: “There is no deal in place for Gwyneth with any record label yet.”

Yet? Hmmmm . . .
