GRETCHEN'S GOT REDBIRD FEVER

Exploding star Gretchen Wilson has a bad case of Redbird Fever ? and she doesn't want a cure. Gretchen recently teamed up with NBC affiliate KSDK and NewsChannel 5 to write the song "I've Got Redbird Fever" to the tune of her No. 1 smash "Redneck Woman," timing the release with the St. Louis Cardinals' drive for a World Series title. Gretchen will also perform the National Anthem at game four of the World Series in St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 27. "I grew up in Pocahontas, Illinois about 35 miles east of St. Louis," said Gretchen. "Some of my best childhood memories are of family, friends and the Cardinals on TV. When this opportunity came up, it just seemed natural for me to sing a song for 'MY' team. Thanks Cards for the memories!"
