Gretchen Hits the Road to Launch New CD

Gretchen Wilson will be hitting the road for a host of TV appearances and tour dates to promote her third album One of the Boys, set for release May 15.

Gretchen and her band return to the show that helped launch her booming career when she performs on the Today show, Friday, May 11. Her first appearance on the show was June 2, 2004, when she was still a relative newcomer. On May 10, Gretchen will tape a segment of Live with Regis & Kelly, which will air May 21. Gretchen will also take part in the VH-1 Rock Honors show in Las Vegas, which pays homage to the legends who helped influence modern music. The special airs on VH-1 May 24. Gretchen has several tour dates scheduled to help promote the album as well. “The reason why I think this album is so important,” Gretchen tells Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ, “is because of how close I am to the songs.”
