"Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson could have made her film debut in the upcoming movie based on the TV series of the same name, The Dukes of Hazzard. But fame has its downside-a scheduling conflict prevented her from taking the role. The Tennessean reported that Gretchen was asked to play a deputy sheriff who arrests Jessica Simpson's character, Daisy Duke. But Gretchen's fans would argue that their favorite redneck woman should have played Jessica's role, and would look just as good as Jessica in those trademark denim cut-off shorts.
