Greg Bates: “Did It for the Girl” Makes Guys’ Eyes Roll

The good news: Newcomer Greg Bates looks like he has a huge hit with “Did It for the Girl,” which details all the things guys do to impress their ladies.

The bad news: Greg loses about half his audience when he plays the song in concert.

"It's funny. We seem to get the same reaction at every show where we play the song," Greg tells ABC News Radio.

"It seems like every guy rolls their eyes, and every girl hits their guy and says, 'Yeah, you're exactly like that.' I think it's something that guys, I don't think we want to admit, but we do at the end of the day."

But there's at least one guy who's not rolling his eyes, because Greg loves hearing the song on the radio.

"When we get to hear it, it's always exciting. It's always new every time," he says.
