The Band Perry plays July 10 as part of new schedule.

Visitors to Nashville will have even more opportunities to attend the Grand Ole Opry this summer. The Grand Ole Opry presented by Humana is adding eight weeks of Wednesday night shows to its schedule, beginning June 19 and running through Aug. 7. The Wednesday night lineup joins the Opry's calendar of Tuesday, Friday and Saturday night performances.

The Wednesday schedule includes a special celebration for Alison Krauss, who will mark her 20th anniversary as an Opry member on the July 3 show. The Band Perry will play an extended 30-minute segment on July 10. The Wednesday night schedule kicks off with American Idol finalist Janelle Arthur, making her Grand Ole Opry debut, along with Larry Gatlin, Kristen Kelly, Dustin Lynch and Restless Heart.
