GRAMMYS HONOR COUNTRY LEGENDS

Eddy Arnold, Jerry Lee Lewis and the original members of the Carter Family (Alvin P. "A.P." Carter, Sara Carter, and Maybelle Carter) will receive The Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award during the 47th Annual Grammy Awards on February 13, airing on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern. Eddie had 28 No. 1 singles and spent more weeks at the top of the charts than any other country artist. The Carter Family is one of the most influential groups in country music history.
