GRAMMY NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

Brad Paisley and Gretchen Wilson lead the field of nominees for the upcoming Grammy awards, which will be handed out Feb. 8, 2006.

Both picked up four nominations, including Best Country Album—Brad's Time Well Wasted and Gretchen's All Jacked Up. Gretchen also received a nod for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for her duet with Merle Haggard, "Politically Uncorrect."

One country tune also managed to crack the list for one of the Grammy's most prestigious categories, Song of the Year. The Rascal Flatts hit "Bless the Broken Road," written by Marcus Hummon, Jeff Hanna and Bobby Boyd, is one of the five nominees. Hot trio Sugarland also earned a nomination in the all-genre Best New Artist category.
