GOING ONCE, TWICE -- SOLD!

Barbara Mandrell recently sold her house -- at an auction! The 27,000 square-foot home, located in Nashville, sold for $2.1 million.

In a strange twist of events, the new owners of the home are Joe Galante and Dale Morris. Galante is an RCA executive in Nashville, and Morris manages such country acts as Alabama, Kenny Chesney -- and Barbara's sister, Louise!

So, the house is -- in effect -- staying in the "family."

The house, named "Fontanel," was too big for Mandrell and her husband now that two of their three children are grown.

"I thank God so much for the incredible years we've had at Fontanel," says Barbara. "I love the new owners as much as I love Fontanel and I pray that they'll enjoy it as much as we have." Barbara plans to hold a yard sale to sell Fontanel's furnishings at this year's Fan Fair.
