Go Behind the Scenes of Tracy Lawrence’s Chilling Video Shoot

Tracy Lawrence has made a number of music videos during his long career, but his latest clip, for his new single, “Lie,” proved a real mettle-tester.

Tracy takes you behind the scenes of the filming for “Lie” in the March 31 issue of Country Weekly.

Unusually cold weather greeted Tracy as he shot the rooftop performance scenes at a Nashville car dealership. “I was standing on that roof when it was like 20 degrees, and when the sun went down, it was almost unbearable,” Tracy tells Country Weekly. But, as he says, “we wanted that big, vast image, and we got it with those scenes.”

TV and film fans might recognize Tracy’s video co-star, actor Michael Roark, who has appeared in such television shows as Sleepy Hollow and Revolution and the movie Dolphin Tale. “He is a friend of mine and we’ve been working together on a movie project that I hope will come out soon,” Tracy says.
