GLEN CAMPBELL OUT ON BAIL

Early yesterday morning Glen Campbell was released from a Phoenix jail on $2,000 bail, on charges of extreme drunken driving, hit and run and suspicion of assaulting a police officer. Glen was arrested Monday night at his home after he hit another car and left the scene of the accident. He posted bail on the extreme drunken driving and hit and run charges, but while being processed at the police station, he reportedly became angry and kneed Sgt. Bill Niles in the thigh, so police arrested him again on suspicion of assault. A court commissioner placed him on supervised release, requiring him to check in periodically with court monitors who could test him for alcohol and drugs.
