Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman are delighted to announce the arrival of their first child, daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Monday morning, July 7, in Nashville.

The bundle of joy weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Husband Keith was by Nicole's side and mother and baby are reported to be doing well. Keith and Nicole were married in 2006 and this is their first child together. "We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers," Keith said on a message on his website. "We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."
