GEORGE TAPS TAYLOR SWIFT FOR TOUR

George Strait has already announced the dates for his 2007 tour, and has now selected teen sensation Taylor Swift as one of his opening acts.

Taylor, climbing the charts with her poignant hit “Tim McGraw,” is the latest addition to a tour that includes the legendary Ronnie Milsap. “I couldn’t imagine anything more thrilling than to be on a tour with George Strait,” says Taylor, who turns 17 in December. “Just last week I was at the CMA Awards watching him be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and this week I received word that I would be on tour with him.” George’s tour opens in Lafayette, La., at the Cajundome and runs through March 3.
