George Strait to Tour in 2012 With Martina McBride

Tour dates will be announced soon.

George Strait loves a good time—and female singers with megawatt voices. After touring with Reba McEntire, King George is gearing up for a new tour in 2012, and he's asked petite powerhouse Martina McBride to join him.

The as-of-yet-unnamed tour is slated to kick off in January 2012. Both artists will no doubt be performing new tunes during the tour. George's current single, “Here for a Good Time,” sits just outside the Top 10 on the Billboard country singles chart, and his album Here for a Good Time hits stores on Sept. 6. Meanwhile, Martina McBride's upcoming album, Eleven, will be released on Oct. 11.

Official tour dates are still forthcoming.
