George Strait Reschedules Concert

The concert is rescheduled for March 3 at Sprint Center.

George Strait postponed his concert at Kansas City's Sprint Center on Saturday (Feb. 25), after battling an illness and vocal troubles. The singer kicked off the concert with his single "Here for a Good Time," though it was clear that the singer was not feeling his best. After performing "I Gotta Get to You," George bowed out of the concert, telling the crowd, "I just can't do it."

It wasn't a complete loss for the arena full of fans; Martina McBride performed an hourlong set prior to George's appearance.

The concert has been rescheduled for March 3. Martina will open that date as well, and all original tickets will be honored for the show.
