George Strait, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert Added to George Jones Tribute Show

Eric Church, Reba McEntire and Alabama also will be part of the sold-out Nov. 22 Nashville event.

The star power got kicked up a notch for the sold-out Nov. 22 tribute show for the late George Jones.

George Strait, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Reba McEntire and Alabama have been added to what was supposed to be George Jones’ farewell concert in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. But the Possum’s widow, Nancy Jones, worked with promoters to turn it into a tribute show.

With the added superstars, it’s pretty likely a major network TV special will come out of the event, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Artists who had already been in the lineup include Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Josh Turner, Jamey Johnson and Montgomery Gentry.
