George Strait Announces New Album Details

Apparently Team George is getting into the Twitter game. Last night, @NaturalGeorge, one of two seemingly “in the know” George Strait Twitter feeds—the verified account @GeorgeStrait is the other—broke the news that George will be releasing his 40th album May 14. Titled Love Is Everything, the album includes current single "Give It All We Got Tonight."

With "GIve It All We Got Tonight" climbing the charts, the song could give George his 60th No. 1 hit. To help achieve that goal, and reach No. 60 before George himself turns 61 on May 18, a group of artists have launched the "60 for 60" campaign.

For more on George, pick up Country Weekly's special issue George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away, on stands March 25. An exclusive look at the King of Country Music and his very last tour, the collector's edition is a must-have for fans of George.
