George to Make Movie Cameo
George Strait will make an appearance in the upcoming movie, A Pure Country Gift, a follow-up to George's 1992 hit film, Pure Country.
George will not have a starring role in the film, but has agreed to a cameo appearance. Singer Katrina Elam is slated to be one of the stars in A Pure Country Gift, a portion of which was recently shot in Nashville. A release date has not been announced for the movie.

“Country’s Night to Rock” airs on ABC, Aug. 12.
