George Canyon, Emerson Drive Top CCMA Nominations
George Canyon, Emerson Drive and Carolyn Dawn Johnson are among the leading nominees for the 2007 Canadian Country Music Awards, set for Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. ET in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Onetime Nashville Star finalist George has five nominations, including Single of the Year, Album of the Year and the Kraft Cheez Whiz Fans' Choice Award. Emerson Drive and Carolyn Dawn got four nods apiece, while Terri Clark received two. The show, hosted by Paul Brandt, will be broadcast in the U.S. on GAC.
