George Adds Blake for Tour Dates
George Strait has added Blake Shelton to the lineup for several shows on his 2009 tour.
Julianne Hough has been previously announced as an opening act for most of the show dates. Blake’s first stop on the tour will be May 15 in Charlotte, N.C. “I have the utmost respect for George Strait and to be invited to be on his tour is a huge honor. He truly is a living legend,” says Blake. The tour kicks off May 9 in Hidalgo, Texas, as George helps celebrate the tenth anniversary of the city's Dodge Arena.
