George’s New Album Hits April 1

George Strait will release the 37th album of his career, Troubadour, to stores Tuesday, April 1.

The new album will feature George’s current hit single, “I Saw God Today.” George says, “It’s a great record to start it out with. Anyone who has a kid can relate to seeing them for the first time and know that it is really and truly a gift from God.” The album includes special guest appearances by Vince Gill on the title track and Patty Loveless, who lends harmonies on “House of Cash.” “When I heard it, I immediately thought of Patty,” George says. “I’ve always thought she was one of the greatest female singers out there.” George adds that he’s not thinking of stopping anytime soon. “I want to make records as long as I can because I still enjoy it just as much as I always did,” he notes.
