Heidi Newfield took the stage unannounced and played harmonica on Gary’s song, “Drinkin’ Dark Whiskey”. Heidi and Gary are good friends who once toured together on the 2002 Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus tour. Since Heidi was also on the bill for the Alpharetta show, she felt right at home joining the band. When asked about Heidi’s surprise appearance, Gary noted, “Heidi’s a super talent and she can jam with us anytime.”
