GARY ALLAN SPEAKS OUT

If you've ever wondered if your favorite stars ever read the message boards on their websites - the answer is yes. Recently Gary Allan noticed some postings on his site criticizing an interview he'd done in which he used the term "soccer mom." Gary wanted to set the record straight, so he posted a message of his own on his home page. "Please understand that I did not make up the term 'soccer mom' and I am not 'dissing' any one group or demographic," he explained. "Country music is about everyday life and the people who live it. To me the country music audience is just not limited in any way to a particular group; it is all kinds of people that just love country music. I see that from the stage every night that I play and I am one of them." To read Gary's entire message, go to garyallan.com.
