Garth, Trisha Take Live Earth Stage

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood made a rare appearance together when they performed at the Live Earth concert in Washington, D.C., July 7.

The Washington show was added as a last-minute venue to the multi-city concerts, designed to raise awareness of the growing concern of global warming. The crowd roared as married couple Garth and Trisha took the stage and sang Garth’s hit, “We Shall Be Free.” Keith Urban also performed at the Live Earth show in East Rutherford, N.J., outside of New York City.
