GARTH & TRISHA SHARE THE LOVE

Newlyweds Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood talked love and marriage on a Valentine's Day edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Tues., Feb. 14.

The two shared stories with host Oprah Winfrey and the TV audience of Garth's surprise proposal and their low-key December wedding. "I just could not believe it," related Trisha when recalling the proposal at last year's "Legends in Bronze" event at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace. "And I'm not easily surprised. But I have to say that in that moment everything disappeared." Both Garth and Trisha agreed that their wedding in Oklahoma was perfect. During the wedding, Garth's three daughters—Taylor, August and Allie—exchanged their own sets of vows with Trisha. "That was a special way of welcoming their new stepmom into the family," said Garth. "It was a really cool ceremony." Garth and Trisha also performed their new duet, "Love Will Always Win."
