Garth Sings for King

Garth Brooks is pitching in to help raise money for a Washington, D.C., memorial to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Garth will join Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and others at the “Dream Concert,” set for Sept. 18 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Proceeds will go to help fund a planned $100 million memorial to the late civil rights leader, which will stand on the National Mall. Tickets go on sale July 30 through TicketMaster outlets.
