Garth Sells Out Nine Shows in Kansas City
Garth Brooks turned what was intended as a one-night show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., into nine sold-out concerts.
Garth had announced that he would do one show in Kansas City, Nov. 5. But the demand was so great for Garth’s concert that he kept adding shows until prior obligations forced him to stop. The shows sold out in less than two hours. Garth tied his own record for highest number of tickets sold in any North American city. Garth’s wife Trisha Yearwood will be the special guest for all the shows, which will run Nov. 5–12 and Nov. 14, the final performance. “For the first time in my life, I’m speechless,” Garth said about the concert sales.
