Garth Makes Historic Debut

Garth Brooks continues to rewrite the history books as he becomes the first artist in history to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard country singles chart with his current hit, “More Than a Memory.”

The single, the first from Garth’s upcoming CD Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Hits, has just topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Garth holds several historic marks in all fields of music. He is the largest-selling solo artist of all time, with sales in excess of 105 million copies. Garth is also the only solo artist with four albums—No Fences, Ropin’ the Wind, The Hits and Double Live—topping the 10 million sales mark. Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Hits is due to hit retail stores Nov. 6.
