GARTH INTERVIEWED IN PORTRAIT OF ELIZABETH DOLE

Garth Brooks was interviewed for a Lifetime "Intimate Portrait" special featuring Elizabeth Dole.

In the interview, Garth shares his views on the leadership qualities of Elizabeth Dole, former Cabinet member and American Red Cross President.

He also talks about his first telephone conversation with Elizabeth, which led to his participation in 1998's American Red Cross' 50th Anniversary of Blood Services Celebration.

Later in the year, at the request of Elizabeth, Garth also performed in the Red Cross' holiday television special. He and Trisha Yearwood closed the show with a performance of the song "A World Without You," dedicated to Red Cross volunteers.
