GARTH INJURED IN SPRING TRAINING

He's having the time of his life playing baseball during the Kansas City Royals spring training - but maybe Garth should take it easy. Last Thursday, after Garth dropped a fly ball and struck out in a game, he capped it off with pull in his right hamstring. According to MLB.com, Garth was wrapped and limping on Friday. "I did the impossible," said the superstar. "A slow guy pulled something." The injury occurred when Garth broke toward center field after a long drive that went to the wall. "It feels like somebody left a fist in it," he added. But Garth - not one to throw in the towel - took pitcher Jason Grimsley's advice and worked off the knot on a bicycle in the exercise room.
