Country music fans: Get ready for an announcement of, well...Garthgantuan proportions!

Garth Brooks said backstage at the People's Choice Awards Sunday that his film production company is about to get started on its first big-screen project. Details, said Garth, would come soon -- but the project will definitely not be The Lamb -- about Garth's alter-ego Chris Gaines.

"The Lamb is still Paramount's baby, and if Paramount says we're going forward with this ... I'll go back in [the studio] and do the soundtrack," Garth said.
