Garth, Carrie, Reba to Salute President Bush

Television network NBC is throwing a country-fried, star-studded prime-time bash for President George H. W. Bush and his Points of Light Institute Service Generation Campaign, the Points of Light Institute announced.

Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Darius Rucker will all be part of All Together Now—A Celebration of Service. And to add some variety, Cee Lo Green, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow and Sam Moore will be part of the mix.

The special tapes March 21 in Washington, D.C., at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and it'll air March 28.

It's gonna be a bipartisan celebration: President Clinton and President Obama will be participating.
