Many folks wondered why Okie Garth Brooks wasn’t at Blake Shelton’s fundraiser show Wednesday night (May 29) for Oklahoma tornado victims.

Wonder no more: Garth is joining Toby Keith and Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn II?) for a “second wave” fundraiser concert, Ronnie tells Tulsa World.

“I talked to Garth, and he agreed that we’d keep our heads down until Blake’s thing was done and until Toby took the lead,” Ronnie said.

“We’d be the ‘second wave’ of efforts to help people because there is a need for a second wave. There will be a need for months and months to come.”

Details are expected to come Friday (May 31), but Ronnie said the show probably would be around the July 4 weekend in Norman, Okla.

“There are a lot of moving parts to work out,” Ronnie told the newspaper. “But this is what we’re aiming for.”
