Garth Brooks Rocks L.A,

Garth Brooks performed five benefit concerts in Los Angeles over the weekend to raise money for the victims of California wildfires.

The ostensibly retired superstar took to the stage for two shows at the Staples Center on Friday, Jan. 25, and three more on Saturday, Jan. 26, playing to more than 100,000 fans in all. The first hour of Friday's show was broadcast live on CBS-TV, with viewers encouraged to pledge money to the Southern California 2008 Fire Intervention Relief Effort. Wife Trisha Yearwood and pop star Huey Lewis made guest appearances during the concerts, which raised an estimated total of $5 million.
