Want to get an early taste of what Garth Brooks is going to do when he hits the road later in 2014? Better find your passport and pack your bags.

Garth Brooks made a special announcement in Dublin, Ireland’s Croke Park today (Jan. 20) that he will give two performances at the venue in July 2014. Dubbed The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event, the shows will take place at the same location where the superstar sold out two massive shows in 1997.

“Before we go back on tour in the Fall of 2014, I want to challenge myself, the band, and crew,” said Garth in a statement. “In ’97, we were lucky enough to play Croke Park, the stadium was under construction. 130,000-plus of some of the greatest fans in the world. I was quoted then as saying, ‘When this stadium is finished, I would love to come back and try to fill it again...this time to the brink’...and we’re back to do just that.”

The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event is set for July 25-26 at Dublin’s Croke Park, and tickets go on sale Thursday, Jan. 30.
